isc2 certified in cybersecurity

I recently learned about the ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) certification. ISC2 designed the CC as an entry-level credential for people starting out in cybersecurity. It covers foundational topics like security principles, network security, and risk management. The exam is also free for your first attempt, so that’s exciting!

Today, I officially signed up and became a candidate for the CC certification. I’ve scheduled my proctored exam for April 15, giving me about a month to study and prepare. I’m looking forward to diving into the material and documenting my journey here on the blog. I’m also a bit anxious because my knee is still in excruciating pain, and I hope I can focus on studying and be well enough to get to and from the exam when the time comes.
